Ramsey Lewis has longsighted straddled the bound 'tween bop-oriented idle words and pop music. In 1966, his trio's force changed with bassist Cleveland Eaton and drummer Maurice White (by and by the founder of Earth, Wind & Fire) joining Lewis.
